L'Association nationale pour l'action des femmes dans le développement a été fondée en septembre 2010 par un groupe de femmes dirigé par Mme. Patience Muramuzi avec une vision de créer une société où les femmes et les filles profitent de la vie sociale, justice économique et environnementale. Avec la subvention, NAWAD will mobilise the project community to take action against VAWG and support the promotion of women and girls’ mental health through the #PaintMyHut project. The project will also use radio to educate the community on issues of women’s mental health and VAWG.
