$5,000 to support small scale businesses for deprived women and victims of domestic violence. This is to provide survivors of domestic violence a means of gaining control over their lives. Economic empowerment can contribute significantly to restoring or maintaining the mental health of the affected women.

$5,700 to purchase a corn mill and build a shed to house it. This grant will relieve project beneficiaries from walking long distances to grind their grains. The project will also build women’s leadership as community women are trained to manage the project.

$8,000 to purchase a corn mill and build a structure for the corn mill. Part of the grant is to train women in the production of local seasoning (soumbala).
$10,000 to design and develop a website for the organisation and set up a health supporting structure for sports women
$1,000 to organize a three day training workshop on developing digital stories, a powerful recording and documentation method which foregrounds women’s voices and experiences in the process of storytelling.
$12,000 to train a group of Community animators who will lead the fight against violence and provide psychological, medical and legal support to women survivors of violence.
$10,000 sensibiliser le grand public aux droits des femmes et des jeunes filles en situation de handicap mental; former les soignants communautaires ainsi que les mères de filles handicapées mentales sur les problèmes de santé mentale.
