$1,000 to educate selected villages (Kikandwa, Bulijjo, Katetete and Mbaliga) on issues of gender based violence. KIRUCODO has a project which is aimed at combating torture and injustices suffered by poor people especially women and children who live in rural communities.

$20,000 to organize consultative women’s dialogue meetings on transformative leadership and for institutional development.

$20,000 to organize the 2011 Ugandan Feminist Forum.

$1,000 to organize educational activities for religious leaders and community leaders in Busia District as part of the 16 days of activism against gender based violence.

$15,000 to support the implementation of the follow up activities highlighted at the end of the 3rd UFF held in May 2010. The activities include the production and dissemination of a publication of stories of feminists dubbed ‘Feminist Mchuzi Ooze’ (a collection of 54 stories by UFF 2010 participants); production of a collage/mural of artistic expression of the UFF vision 2010-2025, an output of UFF 2010; production and dissemination of UFF 2010 report as well as popularization of the performance tool for feminist organizations to operationalize the use of the African Feminist Charter.

$10,000 for the purchase of equipment for a women’s resource centre.

$10,000 to organize an educational Programme on harmful traditional practices among queen mothers and opinion leaders as well as to organize awareness creation programs on widowhood rites in five villages.

$8,000 to organize awareness creation programs in the Plateaux and Central Regions of Togo as well as to train community paralegals. The aim of this project is to ensure the full enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by women living with HIV and members of vulnerable groups as well as promoting access to HIV education and information.

$20,000 for institutional support to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of its core function of fighting against Female Genital Mutilation.

$5,000 to purchase office equipment including computers, a photocopier, fax machine, printers and telephones to strengthen the management of its vocational skills development activities.
