The Twitter Party could be generated around an event (International Women’s Day, 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence), a conference (African Feminist Forum, CSW), a cultural product (book, film, music album) or news event (Ebola, Chibok girls, imprisonment of women human rights defenders in Egypt). The workshop helped us to know how to be better at communications – it opened my eyes and helped me to realise the importance of knowing our elevator pitch…know what are you known for, what you really do, what we are doing.[/tp]
