Rural Women Development and Health Initiative (RUWDHI)

$4,000 to organize training in enterpreneurship, business management and employable skills (fruit juice, jam, cereal processing, pomade and soap making) for members of the group; to provide startup capital to the trainees to start up their own small scale business enterprises.

ROZEE Foundation

$5,000 to support the training of young women in the production of bags.

Project OKURASE

$4,000 to train selected women in gari processing, purchase and install gari processing equipment to enhance processing activities of the beneficiaries. Some women will also be trained in fruit drying and processing.

Positive Queens Foundation

$5,000 to establish a sales point for retailing provisions. This will serve as a means of generating income to support the care and treatment of members living with HIV&AIDS.

New Skills for Women

$30,000 to undertake adult literacy programme for selected number of women and to organize skills training for unemployed young women in bread baking, bead making and hairdressing. Part of the grant will be used to support the operations of the organization

Network of Women in Growth (NEWIG)

$20,000 to provide livelihood training, materials and equipment for production and credit to the five selected women groups in marginalized communities (Zongo).

KeYo Hu PeEhi

$1,500 to construct a platform for drying maize and to purchase storage equipment and inputs such as weedicide and quality seeds for farming.
