Raise foundation was formed by Dr. Amina Bello in 2015 with a vision of Nigeria where no woman dies of pregnancy related issues and a mission to create awareness and opportunity for women and girls to realise their potential in an environment that is safe for pregnancy and childbirth. The grant will be used to educate the project community, train community volunteers and put measures in place that will help reduce maternal mortality and morbidity. The project will also support surgeries for women with fistula and ensure their reintegration into the community.
