$8,000 to train health workers on PTMTC issues and to create community awareness on PTMTC

$1,000 to facilitate the enrolment of pregnant women living with HIV and women living with HIV who recently delivered to access Prevention of mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) of HIV services in the community.

$1,000 to undertake awareness campaigns through various entertaining activities such as drama, dancing competitions, poem recitals and distribution of T’ shirts to educate communities on the dangers of gender based violence.

$1,000 to help reduce the incidences of Mother to Child transmission of HIV through creating awareness amongst young women in Kakata city on the need to prevent Mother to Child Transmission of HIV and by taking advantage of the services available in Kakata, Margibi County.

$15,000 to undertake an evidence based research in collaboration with community members to evaluate the HIV&AIDS situation in Kenya using Gatundu, Laikipia, Kitui, Kakamega, Rachuonyo and Nairobi as case studies.

$12,000 to build the leadership of sex worker groups to lead the campaign for the respect of the rights of sex workers; provide an alternate means of income earning opportunities for selected interested sex workers.

$1,000 to develop and install 10 metal bill boards with Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV messages in advantageous locations in the target community.

$15,000 to provide sustainable income base for women living with HIV&AIDS; provide vocational training for young women into transactional sex trade and build the capacity of 30 women leaders in support groups of women living with HIV&AIDS.
