$5,000 to organize a training program in feminism theory, women’s human rights and communications skills for selected young girls from Senegal, Mali and Gambia and to organize an intergenerational dialogue.

$20,000 to educate and incorporate young women into the women’s movement in selected Francophone countries through training programmes around feminism theory and the organization of an intergenerational feminist dialogue.

$1,000 to conduct one-day training on gender based violence prevention.

$1,000 to organize a football tournament as a means to educate and sensitize the community about HIV&AIDS and the significance of Voluntary Counseling and Testing.

$1,000 to train 50 women and girls on HIV&AIDS prevention, stigmatisation and discrimination; to organise a one day seminar on HIV related issues and to organise awareness creation programme through sports activities.

$12,000 to develop a five year strategic plan for the organization as well as design a website and ensure its maintenance. Part of the grant will also cover the salaries of the project staff namely a consultant, an IT consultant, project coordinator and a financial controller.

$10,000 to provide 15 bulls & cows for 30 households and provide technical training for the beneficiaries.

$9,000 to provide micro credit to 20 women survivors of genocide and to train them in basic accounting and small scale business management.

$40,000 to support the 2013 edition of the Gender is my Agenda Campaign including ensuring the participation of the youth; Part of the grant was used to complete the FAS 2013-2017 Strategic Plan.

$10,000 to support the convening of the Fifth Annual West African Women’s Policy Forum held on November 5 & 6^th, 2012 in Freetown Sierra Leone.
