$ 15,000 for organisational development. Specifically the grant will be used to build capacity of board and staff, carry out strategic planning and develop fundraising strategies and purchase office equipment.

$20,000 to strengthen the capacity of CSOs and promote the voices of women on SRHR issues at the national and regional levels.

$25,000 is recommended for the completion of the first phase of the 50/50 headquarters and leadership institute for the promotion of good governance in Sierra Leone

$4,000 to educate selected communities in the southern region and its chiefdoms in Sierra Leone on the newly Legislated Gender and Child Rights Act for the prevention and protection of women and children from sexual and gender based violence (SGBV).

$15,000 to provide entrepreneurship training to rural women and victims of human right abuses to address issues of poverty. Part of the grant will be used to organize trained women into cooperatives who will be funded to undertake value added business.

$8,000 to train selected women groups in women’s human rights, lobbying and advocacy which will enable them to critically engage duty bearers to demand for the recognition of their rights and enjoyment of their rights; to organize awareness creation activities for religious leaders, traditional authorities and law enforcement agencies on women’s human rights, this will enhance their capacity to better respond to the needs of women.

$1000 to develop HIV prevention education messages to be aired on radio & TV.

$1000 to increase awareness of HIV issues in the communities of Rosotha, Rokulan, Madina and Rogbin, located in the chiefdom of Sanda Tainraren the Bombali District, Northern Province of Sierra Leone, through a community sensitization programme using cultural dances, football gala and video show.

$1,000 to create awareness on gender based violence including the organisation of a public forum.

$ 20,000 for the organizational development of FAS including strengthening the human resource and organizational development challenges of the organisation as well as strengthen the advocacy activities of FAS.
