{"id":4261,"date":"2015-01-29T08:50:22","date_gmt":"2015-01-29T08:50:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.africlub.net\/awdf\/?p=4261"},"modified":"2015-08-12T16:02:48","modified_gmt":"2015-08-12T16:02:48","slug":"strengthening-womens-leadership-peace-building-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/awdf.org\/OldSite\/strengthening-womens-leadership-peace-building-africa\/","title":{"rendered":"AWDF and ALC Working to Strengthen Women&#8217;s Leadership and Representation in Peace Building in Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<span lang=\"en\">In 2013, AWDF awarded a multi-year grant of US$90,000 over 3 years to the African Leadership Centre to strengthen women\u2019s leadership and representation in peace building processes on the African continent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">The African Leadership Centre (ALC), based in Nairobi, Kenya, was established as an educational trust under Kenyan law in partnership with King\u2019s College London and the University of Nairobi.
