Consultancy <\/strong>to undertake the Mid-term evaluation of AWDF\u2019s project \u2013 Phase II <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The African Women\u2019s Development Fund (AWDF) is looking for an experienced consultant with demonstrable expertise on women\u2019s rights in Africa to undertake a mid-term project evaluation<\/strong>. AWDF is conducting a mid-term evaluation of a four year program supported by the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF).\u00a0 The\u00a0grant is for\u00a0the period from May 2012 to February 2016 and supports AWDF\u2019s capacity building program. The assignment is expected to be undertaken within 35 working days between the months of October and November 2014. The REOI is attached for details.<\/span><\/p>\n

AWDF is a women led grant-making foundation which supports efforts to ensure social justice, equality and respect for women\u2019s rights in Africa. AWDF\u2019s mission is to mobilise financial, human and material resources to support the development of strong movements of African women\u2019s organisations and networks who can effectively advance gender equality, women\u2019s rights, and women\u2019s leadership in all aspects of life. AWDF works through key programmes: grant making, capacity building, advocacy and outreach and knowledge building as well as communications. AWDF is based in Accra, Ghana.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le Fonds Africain de d\u00e9veloppement de la\u00a0femme (AWDF) est \u00e0 la recherche d’un consultant exp\u00e9riment\u00e9 avec une expertise d\u00e9montrable sur les droits des femmes en Afrique \u00e0 entreprendre une \u00e9valuation du projet \u00e0 mi-parcours. AWDF effectue une \u00e9valuation \u00e0 mi-parcours d’un programme de quatre ans soutenu par la Fondation (ACBF) des capacit\u00e9s en Afrique. La subvention est pour la p\u00e9riode du mai 2012 \u00e0 F\u00e9vrier 2016 et soutient le programme de renforcement des capacit\u00e9s d’AWDF. La cession devrait \u00eatre entreprise dans les 35 jours ouvrables entre les mois d’Octobre et Novembre 2014. La DEI est attach\u00e9 pour plus de d\u00e9tails.<\/span><\/p>\n

AWDF fonctionne gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des programmes cl\u00e9s: l’octroi de subventions, le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s, de plaidoyer et de sensibilisation et de renforcement des connaissances ainsi que les communications. AWDF est bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Accra, au Ghana.<\/span><\/p>\n
