Professor Busia in my opinion is an extremely multi talented individual. She wears many hats (and wears them with elegance). Prof Busia is:<\/p>\n
- \n
- A Professor of Literature at Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA<\/li>\n
- A critically acclaimed poet<\/li>\n
- Co-director of “Women Writing Africa” – which has been described as a cultural restoration and publishing project which hopes to restore African Women’s voices to the public sphere<\/li>\n
- A feminist activist – she has been involved with AWDF since its inception and currently sits on the AWDF USA board<\/li>\n
- An inspiration and mentor to many young women including myself<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
