{"id":1713,"date":"2015-04-20T20:04:00","date_gmt":"2015-04-20T20:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/asdhostingservices.com\/awdf-2\/?p=1713"},"modified":"2015-07-03T16:47:22","modified_gmt":"2015-07-03T16:47:22","slug":"north-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/awdf.org\/OldSite\/north-africa\/","title":{"rendered":"North Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><strong><span lang=\"en\"><\/strong>ISIS Centre for Women and Development<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\"><a href=\"http:\/\/africlub.net\/awdf\/wp-content\/uploads\/ISIS-Centre-Logo.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-4750 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/africlub.net\/awdf\/wp-content\/uploads\/ISIS-Centre-Logo.gif\" alt=\"ISIS Centre Logo\" width=\"185\" height=\"74\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">The <a title=\"ISIS Center\" href=\"http:\/\/www.isiscenter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>ISIS Centre for Women and Development<\/b><\/a> (ICWAD), founded by a group of Moroccan academics and researchers, undertakes a range of activities supporting women, including research on gender and empowerment, promoting Moroccan women in scientific research positions, and sparking intercultural dialogue inside and outside Morocco.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">The AWDF has supported IWAD to organise a roundtable on the anthology <a title=\"Women Writing Africa \u2013 The Northern Region\" href=\"http:\/\/www.feministpress.org\/books\/fatima-sadiqi\/women-writing-africa-volume-4\" target=\"_blank\"><em><strong>Women Writing Africa \u2013 The Northern Region<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.
