The network was formed in Harare Zimbabwe in 1990, however, the Togo chapter was officially opened in 1999. WiLDAF- Togo works to defend and promote the legal, economic, and socio-cultural rights of women, fight against violence against women and girls, promote women\u2019s participation in decision making, promote maternal health and reduce obstetric fistula. The grant awarded is to help WiLDAF-Togo commemorate the 2020 sixteen days of activism against gender based violence on the theme, \u201ctogether against VAWG to preserve women\u2019s mental well-being\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WiLDAF- Togo is a member of the pan African network, Women in Law and Development.
