The AWDF Endowment Fund ensures that we have enough funding to continue to impact the lives of women across Africa. The fund provides unrestricted income to support the needs of women rights organizations on the ground as they emerge. With a strong foundation for the organization, we are better able to meet challenges head on and to sustain the work we have been achieving on the continent for the last 15 years.

Give to the general Endowment Fund or direct your contribution to any of the following programs:

• Help our “Women Changing Africa” campaign reach our USD15 million target before 2020.
• The 13 Campaign raises funds for HIV right now and AIDS prevention, research, wellness and leadership training for women.
• The Legacy Fund is a special project grant that recognizes and documents the historical contributions of an African woman or group of African women towards the eradication of gender inequality.
• The Solidarity Fund provides a grant to an organization or organizations towards creating an innovative, strategic and communally valuable project, program or event led by and for women. The proposal must be directed towards activities based on any of AWDF’s six (6) thematic areas.
