$40,000 to produce the Standpoint programme to discuss issues of change, policies and interventions by women to help bring the views of women on various national issues to light thereby educating and empowering women.
$8,000 to organise a training programme on women’s rights issues and advocacy skills as well as to produce 24 radio programmes to create awareness on sexual violence and various laws protecting women and children.
$10, 000 to organise a public education session on women’s health, to organize an awareness creation programmes on the rights of LGBTIs and to train 10 peer educators on the sexual rights of LGBTI people.
$20,000 to organize training workshop for selected service providers to enhance their capacity to handle GBV cases with sensitivity and effectively.
The grant of US$ 20, 000 to support housekeeping services, vocational skills and to take care of general administration cost.
$20,000 to support the organization of the 2011 Zimbabwe Feminist Forum. The forum is intended to open space for more dialogue, exchange of information, debates, knowledge generation and critical analyses of sexism and sexual oppression in Zimbabwe. Katswe will be supported by the Zimbabwe Women’s Resource Centre and Network (ZWRCN).
