Women Filmmakers of Zimbabwe (WFOZ)

$20,000 to support the organization of the International Images Film Festival for Women (2012) and organize training in script development.

Katswe Sistahood

$20,000 to support the organization of the 2011 Zimbabwe Feminist Forum. The forum is intended to open space for more dialogue, exchange of information, debates, knowledge generation and critical analyses of sexism and sexual oppression in Zimbabwe. Katswe will be supported by the Zimbabwe Women’s Resource Centre and Network (ZWRCN).

Uluntu Community Foundation

$10,000 to organize training for two groups in business management and modern farming techniques, provide beneficiaries with farming equipment such as watering cans, wheelbarrows, shovels and appropriate seeds. There will also be exchange learning programmes with other successful communities.

The Women’s Trust

$20,000 for institutional development including resource mobilization, staff development and administration.

Lupane Women’s Centre

$15,000 to establish a revolving micro credit scheme to support women to start businesses of their own as well as to train credit beneficiaries in business and credit management and to monitor businesses of credit beneficiaries until they are firmly established.

Ndola Nutrition Group

$1000 to ensure the participation of Women living with HIV in the 2011 World AIDS day celebrations.
