$1,000 to intensify HIV education with emphasis on Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) and stigma reduction issues in Sitola in Machinga district of Malawi.

$15,000 to empower communities to address harmful socio-cultural factors that perpetuate women and girls vulnerability to HIV/AIDS through strengthening community women’s voices to challenge these harmful cultural practices.

$10,000 to undertake series of awareness raising activities in Lofa County to advocate and educate former combatants, community leaders and members on issues of FGM and gender based violence.

$1,000 to help reduce the incidences of Mother to Child transmission of HIV through creating awareness amongst young women in Kakata city on the need to prevent Mother to Child Transmission of HIV and by taking advantage of the services available in Kakata, Margibi County.

$10,000 to support selected small scale women business entrepreneurs in Montserrado and Tewor Districts and Grand Cape Mount Counties to expand their businesses through training in entrepreneurship skills and the provision of trainees with micro credit to support their businesses.

$15,000 to train selected unemployed women and youths of Liberia in income generation activities (beauty care and therapy, baking/pastry, macramé’, soap science, sewing/tailoring and computer science to enable them become self-reliant. Part of the grant was used for institutional support

$10,000 to strengthen 8 existing gender clubs through training and other technical support; form 3 new gender clubs and train them in women’s human rights issues. Part of the grant was used to support women’s small scale business initiatives through the provision of micro loans to survivors of gender based violence and other needy women

$20,000 to advocate for policy and curriculum change that address climate change, gender and girls’ issues in Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in three African countries namely Mozambique, Burkina Faso and South Sudan.

$50,000 to research, produce and launch a report that focuses especially on women’s knowledge systems and their critical role in seed selection, household food and nutritional sovereignty and climate change resilience
