Barrister Mrs. Marian Weledji started FIDA Cameroon in 1993. Her reason for starting it, was to promote the human rights of women and girls so as to enhance their social status and welfare. FIDA Cameroon advocates for equality, social change and promote women’s empowerment. The grant will help to eradicate violence against women and girls, through advocacy and social norm change activities in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.
