You can support the work of the AWDF in several ways, contact us if you are interested in any of the following:

• Make a donation/pledge towards the endowment fund. You can chose to support the restricted endowment fund, which will be invested, with interest ploughed into grantmaking and programs, or the ‘Seizing the Moment Fund’ which will go towards grant making for African women’s organisations working on HIV/AIDS, Violence Against Women and Access to Decision making.

• Host or sponsor a fundraising event for AWDF

• Support the 13 Campaign, which mobilises resources for African women addressing HIV/AIDS issues.

• Donate real estate, stocks, shares, etc.

• Make a donation to celebrate the life of a loved woman such as a wife, daughter, mother, friend, Godmother, sister or in their memory if they have passed away.

• If you are an African living in the Diaspora, become part of our African Diaspora Project, and make a regular contribution.

• Provide information on possible sources of funding

• Start a donor circle in your community

• Gifts of equipment, i.e. computers, photocopiers, vehicles

• Offer your services as a volunteer
