The thematic areas for our Grantmaking have been revised to integrate more relevant and dynamic themes and priority areas based on trends analysis that will contribute to shaping our futures and maximizing our impact.

AWDF has a zero-tolerance stance on corruption. Therefore AWDF has put measures in place to prevent, detect, and institute appropriate sanctions. No grantee should ever attempt to influence a staff member of AWDF with monetary or any other incentives. Staff members of AWDF are barred from demanding and or accepting any incentive to guarantee the likelihood of a grant.
Under no circumstance will AWDF request a grantee to transfer money to any individual or organization. In the event that AWDF arranges with an organization to act as a physical agent for another organization, a formal Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between the three parties. Therefore under no circumstance should a grantee transfer money to any individual or organization through a verbal agreement or an email request. This is all part of efforts to promote greater transparency, disclosure and to strengthen the monitoring and supervision of the work that AWDF does.
